ALLERGIES & SINUSITIS
For the past year I have been cared for by Gina Butler for several physical conditions. I want to give testimony to the combination of acupuncture and herbs as a healing remedy. Acupuncture has helped eliminate inflammation in my body, helping with pain and allergies. I had difficulties being outside because of mold and other environmental allergies. I am now pharmaceutical free and maintain a comfortable level for breathing. My M.D. at Women's Wellness Center affirmed my wellness and has encouraged me to continue with Gina. I feel compassion for those around me suffering from their allergies especially at this time of the year. Cheers and Thanks Gina! - V.P.
While being treated very successfully with acupuncture for neck and shoulder pain, I inquired about a chronic sinus infection I suffered once or twice a year for as long as I can remember. The sinus infection begins with intense pain in the sinus cavities, usually on my left side and then enveloping the right side also. The pain does not subside over time but actually gets worse and is accompanied by a clear discharge and drainage, sometimes with small amounts of blood. The usual ordeal for me lasts until I can't stand it anymore, about three days, and then I visit the doctor for the usual round of potent antibiotics for five days, sometimes having to repeat the dose for another five days.
Gina Butler said she would treat a condition such as this with Traditional Chinese Medicine. I requested from her a TCM mixture that I could store until needed at the time of my next sinus infection which occurred about eight or nine months later. After three days of my recent sinus infection I was groaning that I had to visit the doctor to get an antibiotic prescription when I remembered the bottle I had received from Gina. After one day of use I went to bed with only a slight tingling in my sinuses. The next day I could hardly detect any feeling of pain and by mid-day I felt great. I continued the treatment for the second day and concluded it at that time, mostly wondering if that was it, if the infection was all gone or would it return.
Well, that was it. A week later I am still free of the sinus infection. I do expect it to visit me again sometime in the future but now I am prepared and can treat it at the first sign. Thanks again, Gina. - D.L.
